Trapping Procedure

  1. Identify intersections/runways/air tunnels, and selectively place traps (Contrary to popular belief, traps are not set in every mound)

  2. After a trap is placed, it is either marked with a 1 gallon black potting bucket, or an orange marker flag

  3. Remaining mounds will be smoothed out, allowing us to see where new activity is week-by-week.

  4. We check traps weekly, bi-weekly for larger properties. All you do is sit back and watch the moles stack up.

Traps Used

For moles we use two styles of traps: Scissor traps (AKA Bucket traps, these are the old school traps your grandpa probably used), and snap traps (Small wire traps pictured below). Snap traps are marked with an orange landscaping flag, and scissor traps are covered with a black planter bucket.

Gophers are caught with the same design snap trap, just 20% larger (Pictured below).
